I thought the night could end early, so I meant an update in the game topic. My thoughts were aided by the days ending when a lynch happens and you posting in this topic "Once we get Dream's approval, we can go ahead with it." But idunno. Do things whenever you want to do things. No, Nights have to remain at 24 hours; Night is about more than scum killing off that one person. After all, I have to give other people with roles a chance to choose who they want to enact their roles with and whatnot, assuming they exist after all. Some of these may even interfere with the kill. I mean, imagine it like this. Say we have a scum team of 4 and a town team of 16, each of which is a Doctor. Seemingly unwinnable, right, since they can protect each other in turn? However, if we limit Night to only when scum choose to kill, scum can agree beforehand who they want to kill and essentially end Night instantaneously without any interference from Doctors. Oh, right, I somehow forgot about other roles potentially still having to send actions. Sorry. My bad. One thing you could do is wait for all actions to be in and then add some random amount of time up to about 4 hours, that way people couldn't be absolutely sure if their action was the last one sent to you or if you were still waiting on another at that point -- and players can't guess roles as well based on the time of the update. But yeah, the 24 hours is fine. I can wait.  |

This post comes off as super condescending. I'm sure Dream understands this, but you said "once we get dream's approval, we can "go ahead with it."" I'm sure he just thought you meant "it" as in "the game." It wasn't meant to be condescending, but I figured it would've been pretty obvious that I was implying the killing/roleblock. |

I wasn't sure initially which you meant. That's why I asked a question rather than just assuming one way or another.
(But yeah, I was dumb to not consider the other roles that have to send. Had I considered that, then yeah, it would've been obvious what you meant.)
