IGCD will probably shoot one of the vanillas.
We will be shooting Phoenix-Smasher and roleblocking... Probably no one tbqh.
Maybe we should "roleblock" Kidd and then have Kidd claim Officer Jenny, town cop. Claim roleblocked, night 1 you scanned firedr as town.
Literally no protection claims. "Nurse Joy" is a fine claim for Quick.
Thoughts???

I like that. I'll agree to it.

If the real Professor Oak is the real Vigilante, then I might get shot. I hope my roleblock would still work on our kill in that situation.

Roleblocks can indeed stop Vigilantes from killing, and under certain rulesets will render that shot useless (if using a #-Shot variation of the Vigilante). Unless the Roleblocker gets roleblocked. Though if that third RB gets RB'd, it'll be stopped. Unless a fourth - *shot*

No, what I mean is
Person A = Vigilante Person B = Role-blocker Person C = person that kills a mafia person if he is targeted for killing on a night he uses his power (see what Monster claimed in the topic in Post #393)
Imagine the mafia target Person C, and I (Person B) target Person C with my ability. But Person A targets me with his power. Would my ability actually be prevent Person C's ability from killing one of the mafia people (probably besides myself, since I'd already be dying in this scenario)?

As you would be dead because of the Vigilante, you wouldn't be able to perform your role. However, as Person C is nonetheless still targeted by the Mafia, one among you would die, yes. But that's an extreme hypothetical situation in any case; it would take some pretty bad luck to even end up there in any game. Then again, I've already seen some pretty crazy stuff.

Sorry. I just like to know about all the extreme hypothetical situations.
I nearly had a breakdown over the generally accepted idea that you can just assume GUIDs are going to be unique and that it's reasonable to not even program any events for the edge case in which they are somehow repeated.
And the chance of two GUIDs being the same (if they are generated in a sufficiently random manner) is insanely small. Way smaller than the chance of the mafia scenario I asked about.
For those wondering, yes, I have gotten over the GUID thing. I rationalized it to myself as "If the server does break because of a repeat GUID, I will just frame that GUID on the wall and marvel at the amazing news that this ever happened at all on Planet Earth."

Killing preempts power usage? That's bullshit

Rereading, Yoshi is likely to shoot link.
If Phoenix dies AND Yoshi does shoot link, there will be 10 players alive, and we will be 4 of them.
DreamWalker will say he tracked Cecilia to Kidd. Kidd doesn't have to claim anything yet, but at some point should claim you were roleblocked.
We then lynch Cecilia because she's the roleblocker. She won't put up much of a fight. Terra, IGCD, and Yoshi should jump on this lynch.
At night, we roleblock and shoot Yoshi, in case he's more than one shot. This brings us to 4-4 and is presumably a win.
Quick can claim whatever at this point.
Kidd, if you aren't comfortable faking a role, Quick could probably do it.
Whoever is claiming cop (decide here) should claim a N1 innocent scan on firedr.
@host- what happens if an even number of town and the vote is tied at the end of the day?
Are we able to vote to not kill anyone?

Also- @host-
If we accuse [town player] of lying and they freak out and get themselves modkilled for breaking a rule, does the day end because it's a ML, or does day continue?

Kidd could probably get away with "I don't want to claim because then I'll get shot "

So do you still think we should be killing Phoenix tonight?
Also, for my roleblock should I roleblock Monster? I feel like he has some role, even though it might not be the one advertised (since there's not 1 particular mafia person who targets him and so his role either doesn't make sense or Key is somehow randomizing which of does a kill and not letting us know that in the rules).
But anyway.. I feel like there's a Town Doctor somewhere, probably. Maybe Monster is trying to keep the mafia from targeting him for a few days because he's really the doctor?
I think I can roleblock every single night, so I see no reason to let it go to waste by roleblocking nobody. Unless Monster is actually some kind of role that can determine the identities of people who target him at night. Then I guess it would be bad for me to target him.

I was gonna post near the end of the day yesterday, but I was exhausted. Fell asleep immediately after getting home. Sorry I'll be more active Day 3, promise. Is there any plan in terms of fakeclaims and players to target?

I agree he could be doctor, but he will protect the claimed scanner (DreamWalker) so we can work around him. Don't roleblock anyone because then we can't fake that Kidd was roleblocked. Kidd "I was roleblocked" Monster "Nu uh I was roleblocked." = disaster
