Day 3

Really need a mod ruling on what happens in a) a tie vote, b) what happens if players vote to "no lynch" and c) what happens if there is a tie between "no lynch" votes and to lynch a player. After doing some research into the matter, it will be decided as such (i.e. the most common method): If there is a tie vote to lynch during day, the target of the lynch will be decided by a fair RNG I coded - a modified version of the one that determined role and side - simple as that, regardless of whether it is 2 people or 5 people tied. (So everyone not voting - thus everyone having a total of zero votes against them - will result in a random person among everyone getting zapped.) Simple and quick and relatively unbiased; we'll then move forward as normal from there. There will be no votes to lynch or to not lynch a player. Someone will die every Day phase. If no one can reach a plurality ahead of everyone else (in other words, it ties), then we go to the RNG killing. Given how the current tie would benefit you in the other most common method of killing moreso than anything (the other common method I saw being to kill EVERYONE in the tie), I'm not particularly accepting feedback or objections to this. >_> <_<

As an FYI, random killing off RNG is ridiculous and no one does it that way.
What's going to happen:
There are 6 town and 4 mafia. We are going to score an easy mislynch on Terra because IGCD has no idea what he's doing. We are going to roleblock and shoot Yoshi.
It will then be 4-4 We will then all vote together to kill IGCD. To be fully honest, I will probably just say "LOL GG Me, Quick, Kidd, and dream are scum"
We will tie the vote and go to RNG.
If we lose it will go to 4 town, 3 mafia and we shoot Cecilia to go to 3-3.
We will then tie the vote and RNG.
If we lose, it goes to 3-2. We will then shoot firedr. It will go to 2-2.
We will vote to tie again. If we lose, it goes to 2-1.
We then shoot IGCD. It goes to 1-1 between whoever of us is left and m0nster. It will be RNG to determine who wins the whole game.
Town has to win 4 straight RNGs to win the game (probability- 1 in 16). Once we win a single RNG, we control the lynch.

Awesome. Sounds like we've got this in the bag.
Also, should I toss Terra a vote? I'm not sure because after my lack of posting much, coming in just to vote may look a bit suspicious.

Day 3
Jan 14, 2016 1:52:00 GMT
Post by KeyBlade999 on Jan 14, 2016 1:52:00 GMT
So how long does this day have left? Just under 24.5 hours. As an FYI, random killing off RNG is ridiculous and no one does it that way. The only reason why it's like this is because the town is honestly quite inactive in some areas and other players are just being a bit incompetent at times. >_> Statistically, going random with the lynches, two Town mislynches in this game is a 11/15 * 9/13 = ~50.7% chance, and that's ignoring roles and everything. It easily could've gone the other way. Also, your probability is wrong in assuming EVERY vote gets randomized. Frankly, that's not likely to happen. No offense to the others, but everyone else on the scum side is a bit spotty in activity. (Not that I don't get why - but dammit, Kid, update the RP!) It will take one slip-up and any of you could still lose out. Further, it doesn't really help that you're basically telling kid and the others what to do and when. It's not a lot different from you basically controlling four scum than it is four individuals controlling one each. And should I rant again about how this game is merely just for fun, so any "ridiculousness" flies here? Acting like winning this actually means something is just juvenile. Frankly, I find RNG to be the easiest and simplest way of breaking a tie, and it's not like it's not unfounded: mafiamaniac.wikia.com/wiki/Tie_lynch_rulesBut in the end it doesn't matter. I'm sick of you and everyone else bitching about minor technicalities, just trying to get an advantage of some sort (and, yes, an RNG is quite disadvantageous to you, since Mafia - namely you - are the competent side in this, you'd be more certain to win without it), as if this is somehow a serious game. I'm fucking tired of it; ever since it started, you and several others have been whining at me nonstop over absolutely fucking nothing. Well, I'm putting my foot down in this case. It's RNG. Deal with it.

Shoot Firedr tonight because he definitely won't be protected. Roleblock Yoshi just in case.
